2017 Mug Exchange

So let’s forget the fact that I’ve turned into an awful blogger over the last couple of months. I have good intentions but man, time gets away from me. But I’m determined to get back in the game and I’m letting Stephanie’s Mug Exchange give me the jump start I need.

To know me is to know that I LOVE coffee. When I saw this Mug Love Exchange pop up on Danielle’s blog, I knew I wanted in on it!

I was paired up with Bri from School in our Slippers. Bri is kind of like Superwoman. Not only does she have 4 beautiful kiddos…she’s homeschooling them too!  And I’m not gonna lie…her pics of sweet baby Rutley totally give me baby fever and now I want like 62 more kids. (Calm down, Jerry. I know…we’re done).

Bri sent me a list of some mugs that she liked and I immediately saw she had fabulous taste. It was just like mine!! And I am absolutely in love with the one she sent. It’s the perfect size (LARGE) and the design sets the mood for fall but will be fun to use all year long.

She also sent this adorable house for the kids to put together. The Beans love crafts so we’re super excited for this. Plus some coffee for me (yay!) and some candy corn for snacking.

This was such a fun blogger exchange and I just love “meeting” new friends. It looks like Bri got our care package so pop on over to her blog and check it out. And say Hi while you’re at it!

Thank you for my new favorite mug, Bri! It’s going to get a LOT of use! xo

OCMD 2017

I don’t know about yinz guys but September has been a blur! I’m honestly not sure how this month slipped by but it’s been a pretty good one for our family.

We went to the beach!

This motley crew, plus Aunt Stephanie, took over the beaches of Ocean City, MD during the second week of September. And let me just say…it’s the way to do it! Crowds were sparse, the beach was empty, the ocean was warm(ish), and the cost was so much lower than peak season.

I thinks it’s safe to say…we have a new Soscia family tradition (at least until the kids are in school).

We booked our OCEAN FRONT condo with Coldwell Banker Vacations and they were so easy to work with. I found our condo right on their website and they made the process pretty seamless. Just how I like it.

So who was in attendance for this trip? Greyson & Fynnlee, obviously. Jarrad and I.

Grandma Anna

Grandpa Jim

Aunt Steph

And Grandma and Papa.

We had a full house. But the great thing about our condo (other than being RIGHT ON THE BEACH) was it had 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. So plenty of room to spread out.

Greyson and Fynnlee were so spoiled by tons of attention from their grandparents, plus Aunt Steph, plus their parents…so this vacation was awesome from the get go. But never mind that. These babes fell in love with the beach and the ocean! Oh my heart…I was hoping they would love it is as much as I do. Give them all the sand and all the salt water and they were happy as clams. As documented in the photos.

Greyson was afraid of the water at first…that fear was squashed by the end of the week. And Fynnlee didn’t love the sand at the beginning of the summer…and that fear was squashed the minute her feet touched the beach.

So what else did we do? A giant kitchen clambake (another Soscia family beach tradition)

Stephanie and I have this perfected!

A few days were spent on the boardwalk

But the best part of the trip, was soaking up the days with my sweet babes and my amazing husband (we celebrated 6 years together at on vacation).  Plus our fabulous families…b/c let’s face it. It takes a village to create a great vacation!

My goodness…I love this family of mine.

My happy place is by the ocean, with my feet in the sand. I’m so thrilled that our kiddos feel the same way. Till next year, OCMD!
